Make your own soap with the traditional way and take it as souvenir!!!
Plomari was one of the largest craft and industrial centers of the Aegean in the 19th century. Soap making is a big part of Plomari history and culture. Reports say that there were 12 soap industries, 10 mills, 1 hydraulic mill, 2 olive oil factories, 2 steam-powered talc mills. Most are dilapidated. During our soap workshop you will learn the history of soap, how they did it the traditional way and then you will make your own soap of pure oil and flavor it with herbs. After you let it dry you will get your own hand-made soap at home!
*The workshop takes place in Plomari. Each workshop requires at least 5 people to take place.
