Our routes find us west, we will visit Melinda, well known for the big rock inside the water where the brave ones can climb and jump into the sea. Melinda is a small village 6 km west of Plomari with tavernas and some rooms to let. A peaceful area that many people love and visit every year. Continuing our journey the landscape you will see is magical and at the same time imposing. Steep rocks that at their roots gush warm water, are reflected in the blue-green of the Aegean, discreetly hiding the image of the Virgin who found refuge in the notch of this rock. This chapel is completely hidden in the spacious cave of a rock and makes it unique. The area is called “Panagia Krifti ” which is translated as “the Hidden Virgin Mary”.
The story behind the origins of Panagia Krifti dates from the years of the Ottoman occupation of Lesvos. Panagia Krifti, legend has it, marks the spot where, being hounded by Ottomans, a local maiden sought refuge never again to return to the earthly realm. The outline of her face, it is alleged, may be discerned on the surface of one the rocks surrounding the chapel. Each year, the local girl’s chase is re-enlivened following Service. The youths of nearby Paleochori mount their beautifully adorned horses and ride towards Melinda, where religious celebrations in honor of Panagia Krifti last all through the night.

Powerboat tours are not suitable for those who are not in robust good health.
This trip is not recommended for people suffering from boat sickness, fear of speed or water, non-swimmers, disabled people or people with mobility problems, infants & adults, who for some reason could have issues joining a powerboat tour.
We have an outstanding safety record and we will always respect the prevailing conditions, but we have not forgotten that our clients participate for pleasure and fun! Seafari Adventures reserves the right to make minor changes in the program when this is considered necessary, for example in case of unfavorable weather conditions. This can be done without prior notice.
Reservations must be made in advance, no later than 24 hours before departure. A cancellation must be done according to our cancellation policy before departure. In case of later cancellations, no refund will be made from Seafari Adventures
Seafari Adventures maintains the right to cancel any tour due to bad weather conditions or rough sea or safety issues or due to other reasons beyond our control.
If a tour is canceled due to bad weather conditions, Seafari Adventures will refund 100% of made payments.
