Follow us in one more private excursion outside of Lesvos. We will introduce you to the beauties and flavors of neighboring Chios island.
Our excursion will begin from Mytilene Port. We will took the ferry in order to reach Chios island after 2-3hours of travelling. The 4×4 vehicles of our company will be with you throughout the excursion to make our trips easier and more relaxing. As soon as we arrive in Chios island, we will visit some of the most beautiful sights such as the Citrus Museum – a citrus museum that tells us the history of Chios over time – The Archontiko Argentikos located in Kampos will have the opportunity to admire its many award-winning gardens, but we will not miss Tabakika) while we will taste traditional Chian sweets. Then we will go to Avgonima to settle in our stone cottages, just outside the center of Chios, We can also have an accomodation in Chios City Center and visit the whole island. Accomodation varies depending the availiability. All the accomodation options are nice and authentic hotels/Boutique Hotels/Villas. We will have free time for a walk in the center to get to know the nightlife of Chios for anyone who wants it.
On the Second Day, after enjoying our traditional and delicious breakfast with local products of Chios, we will start our excursions. Our destination is the northern side of the island. First stop at St Markella to honor her feast. Then for those who want it, we will visit the cave of Agios Milatos in the homonymous village. Next stop on our route is the village of Kourounia. Few know that this village produces an unbelievable quality wine in the traditional way from the few remaining inhabitants in the area. In the evening we can enjoy the nightlife of Chios for anyone who wants it.
On the Third Day, after having breakfast, enjoying nature in Avgonima, we will get ready to go to the center of Chios where we will have free time for walks and relaxation. In the late afternoon we will take the ferry and travel back to our beautiful Mytilene. Note for beach lovers and upon agreement we can visit this day and some beach for swim and relaxation.
The above program will be adjusted in the traveling program of yours. It is a private trip that can be combined as extenteed vacation trip after visiting Lesvos Island.
